COMING IN 2025
The Amazing , Fun, Interactive “ReesSpecht The Water” School, Assembly. This campaign is dedicated to educating children, parents, caregivers, families, and the community about drowning prevention and water safety in, on, or around any body of water.
Inspired by the tragic drowning of his 22-month old son, Richard “Rees” Specht , Rich Sr. and Sam Specht collaborated with Bobby Hazen and End Drowning Now to design this engaging, interactive, and fun presentation to spread awareness of tangible drowning prevention techniques to reach those most at risk: children.
This program is entertaining and engaging for all elementary school students with our age-appropriate and interactive content, songs, characters, and animations. Our program emphasizes utilizing the Layers of protection, such as: adult supervision, pool fencing, lifejackets, among others to stay safe around the water. In addition to our live in-person presentation, we also offer a virtual assembly program. The virtual assembly includes everything from the in-person presentation and can be delivered through multiple platforms including Zoom, Youtube, Streamyard, Twitch, etc. Need to know more about our presentation? Email us at info@stopdrowningnow.org for information.
Our mission is to educate those that may not have an opportunity to learn how to swim or know these life-saving tips. We hope by partnering with other like-missioned organizations, schools, communities, and groups we can prevent these needless tragedies from happening and STOP DROWNING NOW.
